Betty found delight in the simple aspects of home life while raising her family including cooking, baking, cleaning, and yard work. She lost the love of her life, Jack, when she was 35 years old and as a young widow, raised their three children, Debbie, Karen, and John. Betty’s life was filled with challenges that few people face in their lifetime. She was the only child of Edna and Harold Nye from Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. Age 96, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024, with her loving daughter and best friend by her side. ![]()
